Up to 200,000 input characters and 2 million output characters. Processing stays on this device.

Use Random Number Generator

Generate uniformly random integers within inclusive bounds using browser cryptography. Start with the sample, select the options and run the tool. Copy or download the result after reviewing it.

Behavior and limits

The generator uses rejection sampling instead of modulo reduction, avoiding biased endpoints. Negative and large integers are supported within a 256-bit range. Up to 10,000 values can be generated; repeated values are allowed.

Example input

Maximum integer (inclusive)
100

Expected behavior for the example

10 independently generated integers from 1 through 100; results vary on each run.

Check important output in the application that will consume it. Use the tool directory to find related formats and tasks.

Frequently asked questions

How does Random Number Generator handle my input?

The generator uses rejection sampling instead of modulo reduction, avoiding biased endpoints. Negative and large integers are supported within a 256-bit range. Up to 10,000 values can be generated; repeated values are allowed.

Is my input uploaded or saved automatically?

Processing runs locally in this browser. Input and results are not saved automatically. Downloads happen only when you choose them. The static preview blocks scripts and external resources when one is available.
