Query CSV with SQL and Generate TypeScript

Import CSV as JSON, query it with SQLite in your browser, and generate TypeScript types from the result. Save the workflow and rerun it on new data.

Saving keeps input, steps and results in this browser. Automatic workflow history is off unless you enable it in Saved tasks. Share links and exported files contain input; give them only to people who may read it.

Step 1 CSV → JSONReady
Step 2 JSON → JSONReady

A fresh local table is created for this step. The final SELECT becomes JSON for the next step. Results over 5,000 rows stop the workflow.

When to use this workflow

Use SQL to filter and aggregate an export before generating application types. CSV becomes JSON, SQLite loads it into the records table, and the final SELECT supplies the data for TypeScript generation. Edit the query or switch the final step to CSV or Zod. SQLite uses signed 64-bit integers and floating-point arithmetic; SQL calculations follow SQLite semantics. Large numbers preserved as strings by CSV conversion remain text in the query table.

Inspect, adjust and repeat

Start with the working example or paste your own input. Run the steps, select any result to inspect it, and download intermediate files. Change a step’s settings to clear old results before running again. Save the task locally to keep its input and results, or export the workflow to move its input and recipe to another browser.

Limits and privacy

Processing stays in your browser, with no database connection or server conversion. Workflows accept up to 1 million input characters and 10 connected steps; each step has a 15-second time limit and 2 million output characters. Saving is explicit. Anyone receiving a workflow file or share link can read its input.
